Highway 14, Nixa
Toth and Associates Inc. designed and served as the structural and electrical engineer of a new powerline with 69-kilovolt transmission, 12.47-kilovolt underbuild and communication underbuild. The new line, which runs approximately 1.5 miles, replaces an existing transmission line as part of the Highway 14 expansion in downtown Nixa. The current phase focuses on the east corridor of Highway 14 and includes a new 12.47-kilovolt, one-mile distribution line, which will consist of both wood and steel poles. BBC Electrical Services Inc. is the general contractor. The project is expected for completion in October.
