Crowder College Freeman Athletic Fieldhouse

Crowder College’s Freeman Athletic Fieldhouse comprises 16,250 square feet for an indoor practice field and support spaces, including locker rooms, offices, concessions and storage. The facility will sit between the existing softball and baseball fields on the Neosho campus. The $1.5 million project will be funded by Crowder Foundation donations. Paragon Architecture LLC is the project architect, with engineering work by Toth & Associates Inc., civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; and RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The structure is slated for completion in April.
Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
