Project description: The upgrades at Hillcrest High School include new classrooms, administration areas, locker rooms and added fire protection throughout. The first phase of the project for Springfield Public Schools was completed for the start of the fall semester, with additional updates coming in 2022. The project is funded by the $168 million Prop S bond issue. Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective is the project and landscape architect, with engineering work by Toth and Associates Inc., structural; and Anderson Engineering Inc., civil.
