Lowell Miller, general manager of Polyfab Plastics & Supply, said that in addition to finding new employees with experience and education, his company also faces challenges in providing employee benefits.
“We pay for the employees’ share of the health costs, their life insurance policies, their dental policies – in years past we were able to provide those more easily than now, because of the cost of those services,” Miller said.
The news is not all bad, though; Miller said Polyfab employees have a strong work ethic, which he says is a southwest Missouri trait.
