Wendy’s franchisee ordered to pay $7M over harassment, PPP fraud accusations

Wendy's franchisee Starboard Group has been ordered to pay $7.1 million over harassment and Paycheck Protection Program fraud allegations.

Sandi Adler, who previously worked as the company's vice president of legal affairs and human resources, filed a whistleblower complaint alleging she was sexually harassed by Kevin Holbrook, the company's former chief financial officer.

Adler also alleged that she discovered evidence of PPP fraud at the company.
