Washington University plans to buy two former churches

Washington University in St. Louis is planning to buy two historic former churches in the University City suburb.

The church buildings would be used for offices and classrooms.

The school is seeking University City approval for the plan. The former churches are University United Methodist Church and Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
