VW workers in Chattanooga vote to unionize

Hourly workers at Volkswagen’s plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, have voted to unionize.

Around 73% of the 3,600 workers at the plant who cast ballots voted in favor of joining the United Auto Workers.

The UAW expects to certify the results of the election within five days if Volkswagen does not file objections to the vote.
