President Donald Trump yesterday announced North Korea has been relabeled as a state sponsor of terrorism.
Though largely symbolic, the action opens North Korea up to a few new U.S. sanctions and potential legal liabilities.
As a diplomatic gesture, former President George W. Bush moved in 2008 to take North Korea off the list.
