Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to announce his bid for the presidency during a discussion with Twitter CEO Elon Musk, sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.
DeSantis is slated to appear at an event this evening with Musk on Twitter Spaces, the site’s platform for audio chats, the sources said.
The sources said the event would be moderated by David Sacks, a tech entrepreneur who is a Musk confidant and DeSantis supporter.
