After four weeks of voting, Silver Dollar City has emerged as the No. 1 U.S. theme park in a USA Today reader poll.
The results were released today for the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. Silver Dollar City is back on top after falling to No. 2 in 2022 and 2021 – following SeaWorld Orlando both years. It ranked No. 1 in 2020 and 2012.
“Our guests come from all over the USA. We recognize they could visit other states, other regions and other theme parks, but they have chosen to not only visit us, but to also vote for us,” said Brad Thomas, president of Silver Dollar City Attractions, in a news release.
No. 2 this year is Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, followed by No. 3 SeaWorld Orlando in Florida. Another Herschend Family Entertainment theme park, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, ranked No. 10.
The USA Today poll indicates Silver Dollar City attracts some 2 million visitors annually.
