Gov. Mike Parson appointed a successor to embattled former St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, who resigned last week.
Gabe Gore, a partner at the St. Louis law firm of Dowd Bennett, is Parson's selection.
Gore is slated to be sworn in on May 29.
