Architecture
Architect B. Todd Bolin was promoted to partner/principal at H Design Group, where he has worked since 2004, most recently as senior associate/architect. Bolin, who received his architectural degree from University of Kansas, is responsible for project scheduling and oversight of the architectural department.

Education
Michael Cassity, professor and director of music therapy at Drury University, received his sixth consecutive grant from the Lawrence and Barry counties tax boards for the developmentally disabled. The $122,640 grant will help fund a Monett-based satellite of Drury’s Center for Music Therapy and Wellness.

Joan Test, Missouri State University assistant professor of childhood education and family studies, received a $20,000 award from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The award provides funding for her project on the enhancement of quality care for children under the age of 3 years at the MSU Child Development Center.

MSU marketing professor Nancy Keith was honored with a 2010 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. The award considers effective teaching, innovative course design and delivery, effective advising, service to the university community, commitment to high standards of excellence and success in nurturing student achievement.

Government
The city of Republic received a $5,337 grant from the Missouri State Archives, a division of the secretary of state’s office. The grant will help the city develop an archives program for its departments.

Health care
Tasha Blackwell was promoted to public relations manager at Integrity Home Care. Blackwell has been with the company for three years, most recently as marketing manager. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in marketing from MSU.

Jake Martin was promoted to marketing manager at Integrity Home Care, where he previously served as home care consultant. Martin earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Drury University.

Michelle Heidt was promoted to chief financial officer at Integrity Home Care, where she has worked for five years, most recently as controller. She has a bachelor’s in accounting from MSU.

Occupational Therapist Kylie Ludemann joined Ozarks Community Hospital. Ludemann has an occupational therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and completed clinicals at OCH.

Hospitality
Chateau on the Lake Resort & Spa was awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award for the 11th consecutive year.

Ashlee Ingram, group rooms coordinator for the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, was recognized by the hotel chain as one of its eight Rocking Team Members. Ingram submitted an entry about the impact of music in her life and helped represent Hilton at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Law
The Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association announced its 2010 officers and directors at the association’s 37th Annual Banquet. New officers are Brian Hamburg, president; Gary Powell, president-elect; Wallace Squibb, past president; Mike Cosby, treasurer; and Rachael Dockery, secretary. Directors are Paul White, Gregg Groves, Monte Clithero, Brett Roubal, Jill Patterson, Jerry Reynolds, Chip Sheppard, Joe Carmichael, Dan Nelson, Adam Pihana, Charity Elmer and Robert Palmer.[[In-content Ad]]
