Mexican restaurant to open at former Long John Silver’s

Posted online
A Pancho’s Mexican Food restaurant is slated to open at a former Long John Silver’s on South Campbell Avenue.

Lee McLean III of Sperry Van Ness/Rankin Co. LLC confirmed the Mexican restaurant would open at the 2,500-square-foot space, 2110 S. Campbell Ave. He said Daniel Aleman, who owns the Pancho’s restaurant at 2027 N. Glenstone Ave., is launching his second location in the Queen City.

“They like the traffic,” McLean said of the choice of location, noting he’s unsure of the planned opening date. “It was the right size restaurant for them. They like being near Bass Pro.”

The new Pancho’s would be located across the street from Amigos Mexican Restaurant.

McLean represented Aleman in the transaction. The property was listed for lease by Todd Chambers of Chambers Real Estate Services LLC for owner KSJ Investments LLC. The 0.5-acre property has a 2016 taxable appraised value of $330,900, according to the Greene County assessor.

Pancho’s is a 24-hour chain with locations in at least eight cities, according to its website.
