A longtime 3M executive who recently was promoted has been fired for "inappropriate conduct and violation of company policy."
Michael Vale was ousted for inappropriate conduct that was “unrelated to the company’s operations and financial performance," officials said.
A more than 30-year employee of the company, Vale was promoted last month to group president and chief business and country officer.
