Dwayne Calhoun, PE, of Gaskin Hill Norcross Architects/Engineers is the project engineer for the renovations at Reliable Toyota, 3521 E. Sunshine, for Reliable Automotive. Paul Melgren, AIA, and Brandi Powell, both of Gaskin Hill Norcross, are the architect and the interior designer, respectively, for the project. The general contractor is Crossland Construction of Columbus, Kan. The project is a total renovation of the interiors and exteriors of the existing buildings to meet new national Toyota standards and to provide new showroom space, new car delivery space and additional vehicle drop-off space indoors. Included in the project are Reliable Toyota’s new car building, the Toyota truck building and the pre-owned vehicle building, comprising more than 19,000 square feet. Exteriors are aluminum composite panels and glass. New heating and air conditioning systems were designed for the interior. Electrical systems and lighting also have been upgraded as part of the project. Completion of the final phase of the renovations is expected in October. [[In-content Ad]]
