From the Ground Up: Wanda Gray Elementary School addition

Project description: This is the first addition since 1988 to the 48,516-square-foot Wanda Gray Elementary School, which was built in 1986. Current work includes a new gymnasium, kindergarten classrooms, a renovated and expanded library and renovated offices. Project funding is available through the district’s $96.5 million bond initiative approved by voters in April 2006, according to Scott Wendt, director of capital construction for Springfield R-XII School District.
