Project description: The publicly traded aftermarket auto parts retailer (Nasdaq: ORLY) is building a new headquarters on 10 acres adjacent to its existing corporate offices. When complete, it will house about 600 O'Reilly Automotive employees and consolidate all 800 Springfield corporate staff members on one campus. The project is financed by working capital, said O'Reilly spokesman Mark Merz. The land is leased from OGS Properties Inc., a company registered to Jared Enterprises President Jerry Jared, and O'Reilly will own the building, said Sara Lucas, construction administration manager in O'Reilly's real estate division.[[In-content Ad]]Springfield Business Journal brings you new projects each week.
