Project Description: The 122-year-old bank is building a new branch with structural steel, additional drive-through lanes and entryways, and brick and stone exterior, according to Crossland Construction Project Manager Todd Lawson. The structure is being built next to Casey’s General Store on Highway 60, near the original location, which was built in 1889. Plans were in place to demolish that facility, but public outcry led the city to agree to accept the historic building as a donation after the new branch is completed, Lawson said.
