Great River is the structural and civil engineer for the Lawrence County Justice Center in Mount Vernon for the Lawrence County Commission. Crocker Consulting Engineers Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, and Werner & Associates Architects LC is the architect. Crossland Construction Co. Inc. is the general contractor for the approximately $5.7 million facility, and the lender is UMB Bank. D. Werner Interiors is the interior designer. The judicial center will be a three-story, steel-frame building with precast concrete walls. The main entrance will have a two-story glass curtain wall surrounded by a curved precast stone wall. The facility comprises more than 37,000 square feet and will house the court system and the sheriff’s office.
