A drone crashed into a commercial airplane in Canada for the first time in the country.
A drone struck one of the wings of a charter airline Skyjet that was approaching Quebec City's Jean Lesage International Airport. Six passengers and two crew members were on board.
"I am extremely relieved that the aircraft only sustained minor damage and was able to land safely," Canadian Transport Minister Marc Garneau said in a statement Sunday.
