Nike selected former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as the face of its 30th anniversary "Just Do It" advertising campaign.
Kaepernick started the controversial movement to kneel during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice.
"Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything. #JustDoIt," Kaepernick tweeted.
