Architects & Engineers Winter 2008 Project Report: Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc.

Posted online

Butler, Rosenbury is the architect and the structural engineer for the estimated $5.45 million expansion-renovation project at Wanda Gray for the Springfield R-XII School District. Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, and Crossland Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is funded by a 2006 bond election. Wanda Gray serves kindergarten through fourth grade. Five kindergarten classrooms, administrative offices and support spaces are being added. The design incorporates day-lighting and provides a new secure entrance. Renovations will expand the school’s library and create dedicated art and music classrooms, a technology lab and a lobby to relieve congestion. The entire project is slated for completion in November. [[In-content Ad]]
