Abacus CPAs LLC and FORVIS LLP are among the nation's top accounting firms, according to a newly released list from Inside Public Accounting.
The two firms are on the 2023 Best of the Best Firms list for companies with more than $10 million in revenue. The top companies, which are listed alphabetically, are chosen based on an annual survey conducted by IPA that includes metrics such as management, growth and strategic vision.
Abacus reported net revenue of $13.7 million and FORVIS $1.7 billion, according to the list.
“We are grateful to receive this national distinction,” Abacus CPAs Managing Partner Bill Dunton said in a news release. “It is a testament to the hard work, innovation and dedication of our team that we have been recognized on the highest level."
Earlier this year, FORVIS ranked No. 8 on IPA's list of the nation's 500 largest accounting firms, and Abacus was No. 314, according to past reporting.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
