Work continues on the vertical expansion of St. John’s Whiteside Clinic, where general contractor DeWitt & Associates is adding two floors comprising 66,000 square feet. The architect is Ireland & Associates Inc. Engineers are C&R Mechanical, mechanical; Stahl & Ponder, electrical; and Packard Engineering, structural. The added space will house medical suites in St. John’s National Avenue Medical Building, which will be demolished to make room for a heart hospital. The Whiteside project, which has an estimated cost of $12.5 million, is scheduled for completion in early 2008.
