Eatery owner Nolan Fogle is rebuilding Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House on the site where it burned to the ground in August 2006. Springfield-based Joe Killian Contractors LLC is the general contractor for the 11,000-square-foot project, which had a setback in September when trusses gave way to high winds. Fogle declined to disclose the name of the project’s architect. Vandersluis Engineering Inc. of Springfield is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. Great Southern Bank is the lender for the roughly $1.1 million steakhouse, which will have a log-cabin exterior and front porch. The restaurant will seat 400 and contain a 750-square-foot gift shop. Nolan expects to open in February or March.
