Minnesota-based Ryan Companies US Inc. is the general contractor for developer Oppidan Inc.’s 21,000-square-foot Camping World in Strafford. Ryan Companies also was the architect for the approximately $3.25 million project. Engineers were Springfield-based Palmerton & Parrish Inc., civil; and Bloomington, Minn.-based Advance Structural Technologies Inc., structural. Taylor Luke, project manager with Ryan Companies, said there are several subcontractors on the job, including Springfield-based Kennedy Contractors Inc., which is handling site and utilities work. Camping World provides customization and accessories for recreational vehicles, Luke said, and the new facility also will have a small sales area. The estimated completion date is Sept. 11, though Luke said it is not scheduled to open until February 2008.
