Recreating reality earned Michelle D. Beach the trust and recognition of clients at H Design Group LLC, where she served for six years as the animation director before striking out on her own in April to open Michelle Beach Consulting LLC.
“I create exhibits ranging from complex car accident animations to medical exhibits demonstrating injuries and medical procedures,” Beach said. “I work closely with expert accident reconstructionists, doctors, surgeons, materials scientists and other expert witnesses to insure the piece of demonstrative evidence that is created is accurate and true per their testimony.”
Beach received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics, graduating magna cum laude in 1997 from Drury University. Her degree is the foundation for a career that requires lifelong learning.
“Because of the variety of forensic projects that I work on, continual education in the fields of physics, mathematics, anatomy and physiology is key to develop my professional portfolio and the company's ability to provide the highest level of exhibit possible,” she said.
Education is one of her top priorities for the future. “I hope to attain certification from the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction and continue down the path of becoming an expert accident reconstructionist,” Beach said.
Her work in the community includes being active with Schweitzer United Methodist Church, assisting the Greene County Medical Alliance with their antismoking efforts, and participation in the Junior League of Springfield’s Charity Horse Show and other regional horse shows.
She shares her life with David, her high-school sweetheart and husband of 10 years. “The only kids that I can claim are the three horses, Belle, Lily, and Joy,” she added, “and a cat, Sam, who is convinced he is a horse.”
