Dr. Jose M. Dominguez, a surgeon at Ferrell-Duncan Clinic, was a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2004. Now retired from the U.S. Army Reserves, he served in Kosovo in 2000 and Iraq in 2003. Dominguez also is a marathon runner, having raised nearly $100,000 so far for children’s tumor research. He is working toward the goal of becoming a deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, where he hopes to integrate emergency medical care with law enforcement.
Brian E. Hamburg
Brian E. Hamburg, an attorney with Hamburg & Lyons LLC, was a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2003. Hamburg is a member of The Missouri Bar and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. He serves as the SMBA liaison to Legal Services of Southern Missouri and is chairman of the organization’s probate and trust committee. Hamburg, who received The Missouri Bar’s Pro Bono Award in 2006, volunteers with the Greene County Air Quality Committee, Sierra Club, White River Group and Ozark Friends of the Environment.
Ellen Hammock
Ellen Hammock, executive director of the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, was a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2005. She oversees all operations, programs and services of BCFO. Hammock also participates in the Women Executive Directors Leadership forum through the Missouri Foundation for Health and is an advisory member for Greater Ozarks Leadership Education And Development – GO LEAD – a nonprofit training program at Missouri State University.
Kelly Rostic
Kelly Rostic, a sales executive for Wilderness Club at Big Cedar for Bluegreen Corp. in Branson, was a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2006. Rostic also serves as spokeswoman for Youngblood Nissan, Chrysler and Kia dealerships, and with her friend, Betsy Miller, she is participating in speaking engagements and presenting seminars on management and organizational skills.
Chris Tuckness
Chris Tuckness, vice president of community development and special events at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, was a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2004. Tuckness is an adjunct professor at Drury University, and he works with several community organizations, including Urban Neighborhoods Alliance and the Jordan Valley Marketikng Council. Tuckness recently began a side venture specializing in the restoration of classic muscle cars and building engines for race teams.
