Skaggs Orthopedic-Neurological Services

Posted online
Skaggs Community Health Center’s Orthopedic-Neurological Services is about 90 percent complete, according to Mike Epley, senior director of support services for Skaggs. The 15,000-square-foot lower level will house physical and occupational therapy and rehab services for outpatients. The 25,000-square-foot upper level will be office space for orthopedic surgeons, neurological and neuro-spine groups, occupational medicine, a pain clinic and MRI facilities. Branson Ortho-Neuro Center LLC is the owner and developer of the facility, a first-time partnership between Skaggs and seven physicians. Several St. Louis firms are involved: contractor Alberici Health Care; architect The Lawrence Group Architects; engineers Clayton Engineering Co., KPFF Consulting Engineers and Henneman-Raufeisen; and interior designer Answers Inc. Area contractors include K&R Electric of Branson, Jess Woods Plumbing of Springfield, SECO Mechanical Engineers of Springfield and Wilkerson Commercial Flooring of Springfield. Regions Bank is the lender for the approximately $7 million project.
