Branson Intermediate School

Walton Construction Co. LLC is the general contractor for this 107,000-square-foot school for fifth- and sixth-graders. The architect is ACI/Frangkiser-Hutchens Inc. of Kansas City. Engineers are Bob D. Campbell & Co. Inc., structural; Great River Engineering, civil; and Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The two-story building will have a gymnasium, kitchen, cafeteria, library, computer labs and administrative offices in addition to classrooms. The estimated construction cost is $15.1 million, financed through a general obligation bond. The project is scheduled for completion in August; school officials plan to move in by the end of the year.
