Christ Episcopal Church expansion

Morelock-Ross is the general contractor for the expansion of Christ Episcopal Church. Marshall-Waters-Woody and Associates Inc. is the architect. Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the mechanical engineer, and JS Smith Consulting Engineers PC is the structural engineer. The project, which has an estimated cost of $4 million, comprises a 16,327-square-foot addition and a remodel of 12,293 square feet of existing space for the 130-year-old church building, according to David Ross of Morelock-Ross. The interior work for both the addition and the remodel is nearing completion, and crews are working on the walkway stone and exterior finishes. The project is slated for completion July 20.
