Missouri Supermarket Builders Inc. is the general contractor for Jared Enterprises’ convenience store, slated for completion May 1. Bates & Associates Inc. is the architect for the 3,080-square-foot structure. Engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; Security Design Group Inc., structural; and Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. According to a building permit filed with the city of Springfield, the estimated cost is $700,000. The Cody’s Convenience Stores chain has 15 stores open, with five more, including this one, to open soon. The store will have eight fueling stations.
