Chamber adds staff members

Lynn Berry was named director of public relations for the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau. Berry’s duties include writing and distributing news releases, stories and scripts; communicating with local, regional and national media; coordinating media familiarization tours; overseeing various publications; managing media promotions; working with CVB advisory committees; managing staff; and contributing to CVB marketing plans. Berry most recently served as executive director of the Eureka Springs, Ark., Advertising and Promotion Commission.

The Branson chamber and CVB also hired Jessica Kibling as project coordinator and Debbie Philpott as meeting and convention sales manager. 

Kibling recently graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in speech communication with a public relations emphasis and marketing minor. Philpott fills the position left by Karen Sutton, who joined the staff of the Titanic museum.
