Engineers: Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc.

Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the structural engineer and the architect for the Liberty Bank Tech Center at 424 S. Western Ave. BRP also is the interior designer. Malone, Finkle, Eckhardt & Collins Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, and Wirt-Flavin Construction Co. Inc. is the general contractor. The facility will serve as headquarters for Liberty Bank’s information systems equipment and personnel. With just more than 20,000 square feet, the structure will have space for servers and communication and processing systems, office space, a break room and a small training room. The design is open and flexible to allow for future interior expansion. The interior design includes stained concrete, both lay-in and exposed ceilings, interior storefront glazing and painted drywall. The exterior façade has metal wall panels, wood siding and insulated glazing. According to a building permit filed with the city of Springfield, the project has an estimated value of $2.1 million. Completion is slated for June.
