Hood-Rich Inc. is the architect for Springfield-Greene County Parks Department’s Rutledge-Wilson Park, including the animal barn and the visitor’s center. The firm also created the master plan for the 207-acre metropolitan community park, which is located on West Farm Road 146. R.E. Smith Construction is the general contractor on the $2.5 million project, which is funded by a city bond issue. Hood-Rich also is the structural and civil engineer on the project. Norman Goth of Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the mechanical engineer on the project, slated for completion in April.
