Smyrna, Tenn.-based charter-flight service Corporate Flight Management Inc., which does business as Buzz Airways, this morning announced it would again offer flights at Branson Airport this spring.
The renewal marks the company’s fourth season offering charter flights at the airport known by its BKG service code, according to a news release.
From May 26 to Aug. 14, Buzz is scheduled to offer flights to New Orleans and Austin, Texas, via FlyBranson Travel LLC, dba Branson AirExpress. Flights would operate in each market four days per week during that time. In 2015, Buzz operated flights to Austin and Chicago, said BKG spokeswoman Rachel Wood.
Buzz is slated to join Elite Airways, which also utilizes Branson AirExpress to provide charter flights.
In October, Sanford, Fla.-based charter airline Orange Air announced it was discontinuing service in Branson, cutting its seasonal flight schedules short by around six weeks.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
