KPM CPAs PC hired Christine McIntire as a staff accountant. She is a recent graduate with a bachelor’s in accounting from Southwest Baptist University.

Banking & Finance
OakStar Bank hired Vicki Reser as vice president of mortgage banking. She has worked in the southwest Missouri mortgage banking market for 39 years, most recently at Bear State Bank.

Bank of Bolivar added Tammy Cohen as a universal banker at its east-side Springfield banking center, as well as Casey Baker, Chandler Park and Joe Caudle as part-time tellers.

Communications
BluCurrent Credit Union Marketing Director Jacqueline Post was appointed president of The Association for Women in Communications. She previously served as the organization’s publicity chairwoman.

Franchise
Domino’s franchisees Marty Prather and Art Hurteau received the International Franchise Association Gold Franny Award for operational excellence. They earned their fourth Gold Franny based on operational audit scores, community involvement, security and team member morale.

Government
Greene County hired Tyler Goodwyn as stormwater engineer. He directs the daily activities of the environmental division, which administers the county’s stormwater, sinkhole, erosion and sediment control, flood plain and wastewater regulations.

The city of Springfield was recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency for effectively using $7 million in grants and technical assistance from EPA’s Brownfields program to assess, clean up, redevelop and revitalize properties previously compromised by hazardous waste.

The Springfield-Greene County Library District received the 2016 Award of Merit by the American Association for State and Local History for the project “Over There: Missouri & the Great War.” The award honors the collection, preservation and interpretation of state and local history.

Nonprofit
Child Advocacy Center awarded Kathy Griesemer the John P. Ferguson Award for Child Advocacy for her commitment to children who have been abused. Griesmer, a psychologist, joined the Child Advocacy Center board in 2008 and served for six years, working on numerous committees and as president in 2012.

Habitat for Humanity inducted Daniel Wooten, a partner at Neale & Newman LLP, as president of the 2016-17 board of directors. Other officers are Michele Risdal-Barnes of The Risdal Enterprises, past president; Chris Upp of Conco Cos., vice president; Kyrie Stewart of Elliot, Robinson & Co. LLP, treasurer; Kayshia Rosenbury, a community volunteer, secretary; and Glenn Green of Lowther Johnson Attorneys at Law LLC, at-large member. New Habitat for Humanity board members are Kristen Callen of Thrivent Financial; Matt Cash of BKD CPAs & Advisors; Amanda Durney of Legal Services of Southern Missouri; and Dana Elwell of Guaranty Bank.
