Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) expanded its board to nine members.

David Foss, the company’s president and CEO, is filling the ninth spot, according to a news release.

He joins seven outside members and one company director. They are:
    •    Jack Prim, executive chairman of Jack Henry;
    •    Matthew Flanigan, chief financial officer of Leggett & Platt Inc.;
    •    Shruti Miyashiro, president and CEO of Orange County’s Credit Union;
    •    Wesley Brown, the retired managing director of KPMG’s corporate finance subsidiary;
    •    Tom Wilson Jr., managing partner of DecisionPoint Advisors LLC;
    •    Jacque Fiegel, chairman of the central Oklahoma region for Prosperity Bank;
    •    Thomas Wimsett, chairman and managing partner of Wimsett & Co.; and
    •    Laura Kelly, senior vice president and chief product officer of The Dun & Bradstreet Corp.

Foss became president and CEO of Jack Henry in July. The former president succeeded Prim as CEO.

His board membership is effective July 1.

“He has done an excellent job of positioning our company as president and CEO and we are confident that he will complement his fellow board members to help us grow the company in the future,” Prim said in the release.

Jack Henry last week reported its fiscal third-quarter net income rose by 11 percent to $60 million.

JKHY shares were trading at $97.56 as of 8:36 a.m., compared with a 52-week range of $79 to $98.73.
