MFA Oil makes sixth acquisition of fiscal year

Columbia-based MFA Oil Co. has made its sixth acquisition in the company's fiscal year that began Sept. 1.

In the latest deal, MFA agreed to buy Washington, Okla. propane supplier Terry’s Propane Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

“The purchase of Terry’s Propane solidifies our presence in the Oklahoma City area and is a complementary fit with R&S Propane Inc., another company we recently acquired,” said Don Smith, MFA Oil director of mergers and acquisitions, in a news release.
