Denny's proposes Burger King peace burger mashup

McDonald’s wasn't interested, but now restaurant chain Denny’s is game for making a “peace burger” with Burger King.

Denny's inserted a full-age ad in USA Today asking for the collaboration.

The ad comes after Burger King was rebuffed by McDonald’s last week when it suggested selling the hybrid "McWhoppers" at an Atlanta pop-up store to mark Peace Day on Sept. 21.
