Over 51,000 Oklahoma outages remain Monday after ice storm

A weekend ice storm continued to affect Oklahomans on Monday, with Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. reporting over 51,000 outages in the state yesterday.

Other electric cooperatives across the state also were reporting outages.

With temperatures climbing into the 40s by Monday afternoon, much of the ice was melting, but damaged tree limbs may continue to fall and hit power lines.
