Despite large discounts to consumers, U.S. auto sales in June likely fell 2 two percent compared with the same month a year earlier, J.D. Power and LMC Automotive announced Monday.
New vehicle sales will experience a drop of 2 percent from the previous year's 1.51 million units to an expected 1.48 million units, according to the forecast.
This forecast is based on the first 15 selling days of the month, and automakers will release June U.S. sales results on July 3.
