Feds bust psychic scammers in mail fraud scheme

U.S. federal authorities have put an end to a fake psychic scheme that scammed more than 1 million people.

Since 2000, French psychics Maria Duval and Patrick Guerin used the U.S. mail system to commit a $180 million international mail fraud scheme.

Duval and Guerin offered victims supernatural charms for as much as $50 to save them from monetary windfalls.

The pair are now barred from sending the ads.
