China sentences top casino exec for gambling crimes

A Shanghai court on Monday sentenced a senior Australian casino executive to time in prison.

Jason O'Connor, the leader of Crown Resorts' international unit, was sentenced to 10 months for illegally promoting gambling.

O'Connor was among 19 current and former Crown employees who pleaded guilty to organizing gambling.
