Gov. Mike Parson on June 7 speaks at an event celebrating $2.9 million in grants for Elevate Branson’s tiny-home project. Elevate Community is a 48-unit tiny-home development in progress just north of Elevate Branson's campus. Elevate Community’s target audience is those with a fixed income living at or below the poverty line. The nonprofit is working to recruit donors who pay $35,000 to sponsor a 400-square-foot residence.

NAMING CEREMONY
Former state legislator Jay Wasson on June 8 announces a naming-level donation for Missouri State University’s Efactory business incubator. His donation funds what's being called the Jay Wasson Idea Loft, located on the recently renovated third floor of the Efactory's home, the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center. At the ceremony, MSU dedicated the new space, which has more than 4,000 square feet for business and leadership training.
