Walmart adding electronic shelf labels in 2,300 stores

Walmart is planning to roll out electronic shelf labels in 2,300 stores by 2026.

The switch to digital shelf labels from paper tags is expected to reduce the time it takes workers to change pricing displays to a few minutes from two days.

Walmart is getting the electronic shelf labels from France-based VusionGroup.
