Georgia-based restaurant chain Waffle House is adding a surcharge on eggs.
The 50-cent charge per egg is being added because of the “nationwide rise in cost of eggs," company officials say.
In a statement to CNN, Waffle House said it would monitor egg prices and adjust or remove the surcharge depending on market conditions.
