Utility rate legislation heads to Kehoe's desk

The Missouri House of Representatives follow the state Senate in approving new utility rate legislation.

The legislation that could bring higher power bills to Missouri consumers is headed to Gov. Mike Kehoe's desk.

The legislation includes a construction work in progress component where utility companies could charge ratepayers for plants while they're being built.
