President Donald Trump has fired two Democratic members of the Federal Trade Commission.
The commissioners, Alvaro Bedoya and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, say they were "illegally fired."
FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson said he has “no doubts” about Trump’s “constitutional authority to remove commissioners, which is necessary to ensure democratic accountability for our government.”
