Toth and Associates Inc. is the civil, structural and electrical engineer on the $6.3 million Substation K rebuild project, which includes replacing an aging substation to increase the reliability of electric service for Independence Power & Light’s members. Black & McDonald (Toronto, Ontario) is the general contractor for the project in the city of Independence. Construction is slated for completion in July.
